Foundation

The Forest Hills Foundation is a non-profit corporation that raises money to fund programs that don't fall within the budget of the Forest Hills School District.

The Foundation's mission is "Investing in Excellence". Forest Hills School District currently delivers excellence, but with the continued pressure of reduced state and local funding, it is harder and harder for the district to get the funding it needs. The Foundation will fund projects that support excellence in education district-wide.

The Foundation's long-term goal is to build an endowment that will allow continuous funding of projects in the future, but it will also raise funds for current projects.

The Foundation has decided its initial focus will be on funding projects that support student access to "24/7 Learning". We believe that projects in this area are needed to help our students compete at the highest academic levels now and in the future.
