About the Race

The Forest Hills Foundation for Education is pleased to bring you the third annual Forest Hills 5K run/walk. Proceeds from this years race will be used to help fund FHFE's newest program termed 24/7 learning. This will involve opening up the Media Centers at Nagel Middle School , Anderson High School, and Turpin High School during specified evening hours. Funds will provide staffing for the media centers as well as providing support materials.

The Forest Hills Foundation for Education is a private foundation created to support public education in the FHSD. The all volunteer board is comprised of your friends and neighbors who share one common bond- the passion for excellence in education.

This event is very special in the fact that it brings students, families and staff from all nine of the Forest Hills Schools together for a few great reasons:

  • To encourage students, staff, and families to embrace fitness as a part of their daily lives
  • To raise money for the Forest Hills Foundation for Education
  • To celebrate our unique community
  • To reach out to all community members, alumni, and local businesses to foster a spirit of unity and FUN!!

The race begins promptly at 8:30 a.m.

The course includes music, cheering, entertainment, water stops, official time clocks, all to keep you excited and motivated as you successfully complete 3.2 miles. Following your awesome run/walk you won't want to miss the Post race festival, held on the Nagel football field from 9 a.m. to noon.
